One Carrot Diamond Ring

Swede Lena Påhlsson had given up hope of ever finding her diamond-studded wedding ring. The ring went missing after she had put it on the kitchen counter during a Christmas baking session back in 1995. But, while gathering carrots from the family vegetable patch last October, she pulled out a carrot that had the attached to it. The family's sheep are fed food scraps and their dung is used as fertilizer for the garden. Apparently the ring passed through one of their sheep on it's way to the garden and one of this year's carrots randomly grew up through it.
